Steve Ramirez

Steve Ramirez is an educational consultant with more than
thirty years of experience in education as a teacher and administrator. He
is called upon to work with individual schools, districts and state
departments of education throughout the country. Prior to working full time
as a consultant, Steve served as an Assistant Superintendent of Instruction,
Director of the California School Leadership Center in Riverside County,
Staff Development Coordinator in ABC Unified School District and a classroom
teacher and coach for seventeen years. His expertise is in curriculum,
instruction as well as organizational development and systemic change. He
has a broad range of staff development experience including effective
instructional practices, cooperative learning, curriculum alignment, peer
coaching and authentic assessment. His vision is to create communities of
learners which mirror the very characteristics and skill we all want for our
children. Steve is a general partner and owner in his own consulting
agency, Life Long Learning & Associates. Together with his partner, Wendy
Chalk, he has formed a team of experienced practitioners which are now
serving schools throughout the country.
